Avoid Fraud! Be alert to scam emails involving fraudulent use of UNICEF name and logo

It has come to our attention that scam emails alleging to be from or associated with UNICEF are in circulation in Hong Kong. We alert the public to be mindful of emails which involve fraudulent use of UNICEF’s name and logo.

Websites, emails, mails, and phone calls offering prizes or lotteries on behalf of UNICEF are faicated and fraudulent. Innocent victims may be lured into providing their personal contact details for harmful use.
If you receive such mails or emails which request a reply email or text message containing your personal information in order to claim a prize, please verify the email address to ensure that it matches our official domain name “unicef.org.hk”. To ensure absolute safety, please contact us at 2833-6139 or email: [email protected] immediately for verification on suspicion of any fraudulent email.
