Senior Manager – Advocacy

Responsibilities

  1. Accountable of developing advocacy strategy in addressing glocal children’s development with evidence, outcomes and identification of strategic partners
  2. Accountable of formulating relevant programmes to support and deliver advocacy strategy by setting out clear outputs, deliverables and implementation details
  3. Accountable of maximizing and disseminating programme output by connecting with relevant stakeholders and galvanize public momentum
  4. Accountable of growing strategic partnership across stakeholders, e.g. child-related NGOs, universities, experts and government partners, etc.
  5. Lead initiative to optimize operating efficiency and compliance

 

Skills & Requirements

  1. Degree holders, in preferable major in social science, policy research or public administration with 6-10 years of relevant experience
  2. Experience in strategic planning and resource allocation
  3. Experience in supervising advocacy programme implementation
  4. Experience in stakeholders management

 

Skills

  1. Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese
  2. Ability to perform typing, word processing and / or Chinese word processing
  3. Hands-on experience in MS office such as MS Word, excel, PowerPoint

Head, Mass Market and Digital

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Plan, assess and develop platforms to engage existing individual donors and acquire potential donors and implement effective fundraising campaigns and products to maximise fundraising results
  2. Formulate strategies for digital fundraising initiatives and online advertising channel to increase the visibility and profile of UNICEF and drive fundraising result
  3. Work closely with Donor Stewardship and Service Management team in Fundraising to:
    1. devise appropriate engagement activities for individual donors, including but not limited to forums, talks, donor visits and field trips with a view to maintain and develop stable and long term relationship;
    2. responsible for CRM for market segmentations
  1. Work closely with other teams in Fundraising to reach out to and attract potential donors and collaborate with Advocacy Dept. and Communications to enhance public trust to UNICEF
  2. Evaluate and manage the performance of business agencies, with a view to ensuring cost effectiveness and efficiency
  3. Monitor and follow through spending to ensure it is within agreed and approved budget
  4. Provide directions, support and training to team members to perform their job duties and to create a high performing team with collaborative spirit
  5. Lead and drive emergency appeals across UNICEF HK and coordinate with all units within and outside Fundraising Dept. for best communication and fundraising results

 

Qualifications

  1. Degree holder in Sales and Marketing, Business with 15 years of experience
  2. Seasoned marketing professionals with strong business acumen
  3. Management experience across diverse industries and sectors
  4. Experience in managing businesses with large customer database such as telecom, banking and insurance
  5. Experience in organizing and marketing of large-scale public/consumer events
  6. Experience in social media engagement
  7. Experience in digital platform development and partnership negotiation
  8. Analytical minded and result driven
  9. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills

Specialist (Fundraising)

Role and Responsibilities

  1. Support in strategising and executing effective engagement activities with donors, and work with team members and other teams for the deployment of communication channels including direct mailings, telemarketing, digital and social media platforms
  2. Support individual donor loyalty building and donor value development programs
  3. Manage budget effectively to achieve the annual results
  4. Point of contact in case of any emergency occurs, to coordinate and communicate with other team members, and deliver the fundraising activities once an emergency appeal is launch
  5. Responsible for general daily operational duties, providing administrative work & support including office procurement, data entry\import, filing & scanning, document delivery, document management, etc.
  6. Other duties as assigned by supervisor(s) from time to time

 

Requirements

  1. A university degree with ability to manage complex data
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience in data management and loyalty programme management
  3. Ability to work independently and think strategically
  4. Demonstrated work experience with project management
  5. Proactive, creative, independent, strong sense of integrity and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines and KPIs
  6. Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
  7. Candidate with less experience will be considered as Officer

Manager / Assistant Manager, IT Operations

Responsibilities: 

  1. In charge of the planning and implementation of addition, deletion and major modification to the organization’s IT systems
  2. Manage and review the IT security infrastructure, inclusive of advising and implementing suitable security measures to ensure the security of IT applications, network, database; participate in data and system security monitoring and testing;
  3. Provide IT and technical support to end-users, particularly on user computing covering PC software, version upgrade, mobile and user software
  4. Prepare full documentation inclusive of infrastructure manual, system operation manual, security manual, application usage manual, disaster recovery manual, business continuity plan etc.
  5. Work together with different teams to implement new or upgrade exiting IT systems, such as Document Management System, Viewpoint, CRM, HR, Accounting systems, etc.
  6. Co-ordinate and meet with internal and external parties including external IT vendors for the organization’s IT projects and system support in the delivery of strategic and transformational initiatives.
  7. Report to Digital Operations Director to maintain the infrastructure and ensure the deliverables at all levels with the best price/performance/practice of infrastructure architecture design for fulfilling IT Audit’s requirements.

 

Skills & Requirements:

  1. At least 8 year’s solid experience in Information Technology Management for Manager, while at least 5 year’s solid experience in Information Technology Management for Assistant Manager, preferably from the professional service sector or NGOs;
  2. University graduate, major in Information Technology Management, Computer Science or related discipline is preferred;
  3. In-depth understanding and hands-on experience of developing, implementing, managing and supporting IT systems, network and infrastructure, both hardware and software;
  4. Results-driven, forward-thinking, excellent in problem-solving and decision making, good at communication and tactful in dealing with people of all levels;
  5. Extensive technical experience, know-how in system, network, technologies, preferably be with professional certifications;
  6. Experience in application database design and file management techniques;
  7. Knowledge of network hardware, protocols, and operating systems including Fortinet, Citrix, VMware and Window Server;
  8. Experience in core software applications, such as Microsoft Dynamics, Viewpoint, DMS, Microsoft office 365 and Exchange.
  9. Certified in CISSP, CISA or any related professional certification, or experience in handing IT audit is highly preferred;
  10. Good leadership and people management skills;
  11. Excellent verbal and written presentation skills;
  12. Good command of spoken and written English

Advocacy Officer

Responsibilities:

  1. Support the implementation of research and analytical studies to substantiate advocacy priority, open-up policy dialogue, and support content development of campaigns or high-level meetings.
  2. Support the identification of framework to evaluate advocacy programme, measure impact projects impact, and conduct situation analysis to support strategic planning and reporting.
  3. Support the implementation of policy monitoring and stakeholders mapping with engagement.
  4. Support the implementation and monitoring on approved advocacy programme.
  5. Support building rapports and maintain close relationship with child-related NGOs, universities, experts and government partners, etc. to explore programme collaboration to advocate child rights and promote children’s well-being.
  6. Support technical expertise and consultants engagement as necessary to validate results and collect expert opinions on advocacy related activities.
  7. Assist in other duties assigned by supervisor.
